ASRA Postal Competition Results

Hi All
Attached are the results for the 2025-2026 provincial postal competition.
We had 24 participants which I consider a success.
There were 10 people who shot at least 4 of the six monthly matches. All awards based on scores are for a maximum of four matches.
Calculations for winners were based on the top 4 scores for each athlete.

Awards explanation
One prize is a random draw of all participants is in memory of, Mr. Gordon Herbert Dahl.
The winners of that draw are
Kat Fissenko and Stuart Kotowich
They will each receive an e transfer of $50

The next set of winners are those who achieved the best increase in their scores over the total time frame of the competion (Nov- Apr) for any of the 4 disciplines (air and .22, supported and unsupported). (top 4 shooters win awards) The criteria is that the winners had to have completed at least four matches to qualify. The increase is measured by the difference from their first score compared to their average for the year.
Each of the 4 winners will receive an e transfer of $25 thanks to the $100 donation from Billi Jo McIlroy.

The final set of awards are the more standard set of medals of Gold, Silver and Bronze for the respective categories. For disciplines with less than 5 people the number of awards are reduced.
On the attached spreadsheet are the scores and totals (best 4 series) and a tab called other awards. Two individuals declined their rankings as shown on the sheets.
The listings for the respective categories are tabs at the bottom left of the attached spreadsheet.

If you are a medal winner, I would appreciate you contacting me as the best way for me to get a medal to you. wynn.payne@gmail.com
I’m located in Edmonton. ie you are located in St. Paul, Red Deer or Calgary perhaps I can bunch medals together to a distribution point in your area.
Thanks to all who participated. This postal match will restart with the month of October 2026. I would appreciate your suggestions as to how this inaugural year can be improved on for the next year.
